I have had a little crush on Emmanuelle Alt for a while, or more specifically her effortless French chic style. She is rarely seen in dresses, rather in a variation of sleek blazer, shirt, skinny jeans combo. Her accessories are the icing on the cake for me and are put together in the very cool French way. The shoes are always to die for, living in Valentino, Isabel Marant or Dolce and Gabana. She always wears the same fabulous Cartier watch and last but not least the piece which I have been coveting the most – the belts, or rather the way she wears them. Now obviously as the Editor in chief of Vogue Paris the belts usually consist of Balmain or Isabel Marant. My budget doesn’t stretch quite so far but I am very excited to have found the perfect stocking fillers for myself from TK Maxx and EBay of all places.

Slightly more dressy black leather and metal Diesel belt from TKMaxx

If you want a similar style have a look here at the plaited variety or here at the gold link variety from shopbop.com. Alternatively you could try a fairly plain one from H&M here. Before you decide, head over to Mango where there is a great choice but the one catching my eye is this leather and Zinc one shown here. Its in the sale at the moment and with over 50% off this one it’s a no brainer.
Are you going to be joining me in tucking in the shirt to show off your leather low slung belt come spring?
